Support Winstanley Hall
Why your support matters
Winstanley Hall is an important part of the area’s heritage, and the proposals provide an opportunity to secure its long-term future through its restoration and sensitive regeneration. The approach has been informed by engagement with the local community and statutory consultees, including Historic England, and would bring the Hall and wider estate back into meaningful use while opening parts of the historic parkland to the public and delivering new homes and community facilities.
Kingswood Homes has extensive experience delivering high-quality developments that provide the homes communities need to grow and thrive. Their schemes across the North West, including Green Hills in Blackburn, demonstrate the positive contribution they can make to local communities.
It is important that decision-makers hear from people who support the plans, as well as those who may have concerns. Submitting a letter of support is a simple but effective way to demonstrate community backing for the restoration of Winstanley Hall and the wider benefits the proposals would deliver.
By completing the form below, your personalised letter of support will be submitted directly to Wigan Council's planning team for consideration as part of the planning application.

About the Planning Application
The Winstanley Hall Development represents a unique opportunity to save one of Wigan’s most historic landmarks while creating a sustainable, high-quality residential community for future generations. This ambitious project will restore and repurpose Winstanley Hall, a Grade II* listed building dating back to 1573, and open part of its grounds to the public for the very first time.
